VARIATION – the flat candlestick seen in a new light.
The candlestick is a combination of the flat candlestick and the organic design for which Maria Berntsen is so renowned. “I find it interesting to work on a solid cast candlestick with a bowl-shaped base. This gives it more than one function – as it is both a candlestick and a storage space,” says Maria Berntsen, commenting on her design.“The traditional flat candlestick has been a great source of inspiration. The reason for this is its greater volume and functionality, which allows you to keep bits of candle, matches, snacks and decorative objects in the bowl,” explains Maria Berntsen. VARIATION is a simple decorative candlestick ideally suited for the dinner table, the window table or for use in a summer cottage. The candlestick can be decorated for different seasons and festivals.
